He was born March 27, 1932, to the late Elisha H. and Rosie B. (Metheney) Fitzwater in Ivydale, W.Va. He is survived by his wife, Carol; sons, Ronald (Carol), William (Barb) and Timothy (Melissa) Fitzwater, all of Melbourne, Fla.; grandchildren, Jason, Amanda, Eric and Alyssa Fitzwater; sisters, Orla Bass and Olive Christy of Melbourne, Fla., and Ida Faye (Versil) James of Wooster; brothers, Roy of Melbourne, Fla., Hugh (Carol) of Portsmouth, Va., Elton (Vera) of Dalton and Donald (Peggy) of Anacoco, La. Following private family services in Melbourne, Fla., burial of cremains will be at Starcher Cemetery in Otter, W.Va.
