22 July 2005 The Daily Courier Connellsville, Pennsylvania Garner William "Bill" Triplett, 60, of Crown City, Ohio passed away on Monday, May 30, 2005 at his residence. He was born on December 21, 1944 in Kanawha County, WV to the late Lionel Triplett, Sr. and Mabel G. Bowyer Triplett. He was a retired mechanic and U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia J. Fitzwater Triplett, whom he married on October 23, 1965 in West Virginia; a son, Bill (Missy) Triplett of Crown City; a daughter, Sheila (Steve) Wright of Westerville, Ohio; three grandchildren, Kyle Flinner, Shannon Wright and Austin Triplett; two brothers, Dennis (Sharon) Triplett of Savannah, Georgia and George (Kay) Triplett of Crown City; three sisters, Phyllis (Dale) Fife of Gallipolis, Peggy (Kellis) Phillips of Chicago, IL and Karen Jarrell of Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents and by one brother, Lionel "Butch" Triplett. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2005 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Old Mercerville Cemetery.
