December 31, 2003 Fort Worth Star-Telegram Fort Worth, Texas Dale LaVerne Fitzwater, 74, a plumber, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2003, at his home. An informal service will be held 8 to 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 9, at Ginger Brown's Restaurant, in Fort Worth. Dale Fitzwater was the owner of a plumbing business. He was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 1951. He was a longtime member of the Eagles Club and enjoyed outdoor activities. Dale was a gentle spiritual man who graciously welcomed people and truly appreciated the important things in life. Survivors: Brothers, Keith, Ralph and Larry Fitzwater; sisters, Louise McFarland, Doreen Richardson and Kay Hoyle; sons, Randall, Kevin, Russell and Dennis Fitzwater; daughters, Diana and Sherry Fitzwater; and many close friends.
