December 13, 2003 Martinsburg Journal Martinsburg, West Virginia Hedgesville, W.VA.- Dorothy F. Ellinger, 79, of Hedgesville, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003, at her home. Born Oct. 8, 1924, in Moorefield, W. VA., she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Ethel Mae Clayton Fitzwater. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Lee Ellinger. She was a member of Tomahawk Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Community Education Outreach Service Organization. She is survived by two daughters, Janet L. Brooks and Carol A. Ernest both of Hedgesville; one son Kenneth L. Ellinger of Baltimore; two sisters, Pauline Cain and Edna Uphold, both of Moorefield; three brothers, John Fitzwater of Salt Lake City, Harold Fitzwater and Harry Fitzwater, all of Moorefield; and one grandson. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Robert L. Ellinger; one sister, Susan McCoy; and one brother, Charles Fitzwater. Services will by Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Tomahawk presbyterian Church. Pastor Paul Wolverton will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the church.
