My ggg-grandfather was named George Fitzwater and he was married to a Nancy. They were married on March 23, 1819. The information was written in this bible by there son Thomas a few weeks after George's death. I am looking for more information on this George. A history book of Nicholas indicates that Capt. George Fitzwater is the same person as my ggg-grandfather, but I have found other records that indicate differently. Anyone who can help me figure this out would be greatly appreciated.
