September 30, 2002 Sun Gazette Williamsport, Pennsylvania Shirley M. (Fitzwater) Barnes, 57, of Canton RR#3, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Stephen Barnes; her children, Mark Barnes and Brenda Barrett; step-children, Monty and Marcia Barnes; 2 brothers, 5 sisters and 15 grandchildren. Viewing will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at East Canton United Methodist Church. A service will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Jay Morris officiating.
