21 February 2005 The Joplin Globe Joplin, Missouri Robert Wilbert Robert Leroy Wilbert, age 65, Joplin, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2005, at the Veteran’s Hospital in Little Rock, Ark. He was born July 22, 1939, in Pittsburg, Kan., to the late Joseph Nicholas Wilbert and Virginia *Fitzwater *Wilbert, and had lived in Joplin the past two years moving from San Jose, Calif. He worked as a salesman for Suburban Mobile Homes in Joplin and was an avid fisherman and pool player. He was a Catholic. He was a veteran, serving in the United States Marine Corp. He married Theresa Ann Gregory on April 24, 1986, in Atascadero, Calif. She survives. Additional survivors include two daughters, Laura Wilbert, Joplin, and Nancy Godfrey. Memorial services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Parker Mortuary Chapel. Rev. Fr. Justin Monaghan will officiate.
