Fitzwater Age 75 of Newark, DE passed away on March 3, 2005 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born in Junior, WV, daughter of Gordon and Cloie McDonald, where she lived until she met her husband Robert. They made DE their home for the past 54 years, where they shared a wonderful marriage and family. Betty was employed by ShopRite in Stanton as a cashier and produce clerk for 25 years, and was a member of the United Methodist Women's Christian Group. Betty will be sadly missed by her husband of 54 years, Robert; her family, Robert R. Fitzwater, Jr. and his wife, Mary Kay, of Newark, Iona Muscella and her husband, Robert, of West Chester, PA, Helen Lee and her husband, Jake, of Milford and Patty McCutchan and her husband, Neil, of Bear, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; and 8 sisters. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers. Family and friends are invited to Betty's Life Celebration on Tuesday, March 8, at Beeson Memorial Services of Newark, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Fox Run, (302-453-1900), from 10-12 noon. Her funeral service will be at the funeral home at 12 noon, with interment in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bear.
