June 11, 2002 Hagerstown Herald Mail Hagerstown, Maryland Hagerstown Morning Herald (MD) June 11, 2002 Kings Mountain, N.C. - Margie Pine, 86, of Kings Mountain, and formerly of Martinsburg, W.Va., died Sunday, June 9, 2002, at Kings Mountain Hospital. Born Sept. 4, 1915, in Rockingham County, Va., she was the daughter of the late James Franklin and Rhoda Halterman Fitzwater. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aldon Pine. She is survived by one brother, Berlin Fitzwater of Charles Town, W.Va.; one sister, Juanita Huffstetler of Kings Mountain; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ocla Fitzwater and Laird Fitzwater; and four sisters, Lenora Schenck-Eversole, Alma Myers, Lodis Curtis and Bernice Files. Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Martinsburg. The Rev. Robert Maraugha will officiate. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
