    3. Katheryn Devine has been in the process of moving. Her home is sold and she is currently not available to a phone or current address as her new home is not ready yet. So, in about a month or so, I will post a new address and phone number for her. As for Thomas Fitzwater coming from England... yes, he came from England, yes his wife died at sea as did two children. We do not yet have a final edit on the revision of the Fitzwater Families of America yet. Katheryn hopes to be done by fall, then off to Copyright, then off to printer. She does not yet have a price set either. There was a great deal of information submitted after I posted her data, and it has taken much longer to wade through it than was originally planned. Many lines were extended, and corrected. 2. Check this site out about Thomas Fitzwater and William Penn - http://www.fitzwaterstation.com/Default1.htm Thought they came from Germany but they did not they came from Middlesex, England. Thomas' wife and daughter died at sea while on the ship "Welcome" to America. Interesting story. My husband's best friend is related to William Penn ;)

    3. Hello all, I'm new to the list and am searching for documentation to connect two WILLIAM FITZWATERS who lived in Virginia just west of Harrisonburg, [Brock's Gap]. William, the father, was born ca 1735 near Philadelphia and died 1824. His son was born ca 1779 in Virginia and died 1863 during the Civil War. There is reputedly a bond signed by both to transfer land. I have not been able to find a will on the first William. I would appreciate this information to verify this connection for DAR membership. I would be happy to exchange information. Helen Graham
