Lawrence is my father's half-brother. Lawrence's father married my grandmother and he is buried at White Rose Cemetery with my grandmother. W. E. Fitzgerald died about 3 months before my father was born. Most of my research shows that we are not in Ambrose Fitzgerald's direct line. I am beginning to believe that we might be in a collateral line since Ambrose's father was named Samuel. Still doing research on that. I have traced the family back to Hopkins, Rains & Hunt counties.
