She married Patrick DeCourcy (DeCoursey), date, place, unknown. There are/were Fitzgeralds living in Decatur in the 1940s as I attended grade school with a Marilyn Fitzgerald who told me once that we were related. I have not yet tried to contact her or research the Fitzgerald line but will look for clues when I do some Illinois census work this weekend. BTW, in Diana's message she states that she had "Fitzgeralds from Northern Macomb Co along the St Clair Co border". I don't think that information is correct. There is a St Clair County across the Mississippi River from St Louis. There is NO Macomb CO, either in Illinois or Missouri. The city of Macomb is in Illinois, almost due north of St Louis and pretty much on a line from Bloomington IL to Keokuk, IA. Western Illinois University is located there (mentioned because it holds many Illinois vital and other records in the IRAD system). Out of curiosity, were any of your Fitzgeralds railroaders?
