Fitgerald Jr., 72, who passed away on Sunday evening, Dec. 9, 2012. William will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends. He was born Dec. 7, 1940, in Youngstown, Ohio the son of William Sr. and Martha (Stansfield) Fitzgerald and was a lifelong area resident. William was a 1958 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. He retired from Youngstown Sheet & Tube Company after working 32 years as a crane operator. William was a member of St. Angela Merici Parish, Sacred Heart Church and truly enjoyed collecting stamps. He leaves behind to hold on to his memories a sister, Anne Klimko of Youngstown and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Rita Parks; and four brothers, John "Denny," Robert, Hubert and James Fitzgerald. Friends may call on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, from 10 a.m. until 10:50 a.m. at St. Angela Merci Parish, Sacred Heart Church, 400 Lincoln Park Drive, Youngstown. Arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown. In lieu of flowers, material contributions can be made in Williams name to St. Angela Merici Parish, 400 Lincoln Park Drive, Youngstown, OH 44506.
