I just came across your post here while also researching this family here in town. I believe your house was built by the Mayor's son, who was David E. FitGerald, Jr. I am researching his mother, Alice Clark FitzGerald, to try to connect her to the other Clark's here in town, especially the Rufus Clark who was a contemporary of hers and who owned the land where my house now stands. (So far, I have only found his wife's connection to the Smith family that lived on the corner of Center and Beecher where Sharon DeKadt and Chris Keevil live now). Would enjoy hearing more about your genealogy searches - especially anything here in Woodbridge. Maybe I'll see you at Pat and Brian's party later this month?
