We can only go by circumstantial evidence. I would love to read John Wilson's article. Of the sons I have seen attributed to George 1739.... John stayed in Indiana, Archibald went to Texas, but later came back to Tennessee, George Jr., from Georgia, went to White Co.IL(part later became Hamilton Co.IL. ,via KY where his children were born, he purchased land in 1836, died June 5,1845,in IL and is buried in the same cemetery as his father George Sr.,He named his children,among others, Samuel, John and William Woodson.
