My father was Joseph Fitzgerald's son. His name was John (Jack) and his older brother's name was Joe. Unfortunately, especially back in those days, my grandmother, Margaret Doyle, and Joseph were divorced. As a result, my sisters and brothers and I were never part of the Fitzgerald clan of Bloomfield. In fact, I never even met my grandfather, Joseph, except when I was an infant. Much too much water under the bridge. My brothers and sisters and I (although we are all older now) would love to know about our Fitzgerald family lineage. We had the name but never the history which was sad. My father had told us that he worked with his brother and father at the asbestos company from time to time when he was very young.
