Their daughter Julia Fitzgerald married Joseph Dee in Massachusetts where they both had immigrated, they were both form the same community and knew each other in Liskeelty. Joseph's mother was Catherine Fitzgerald Dee also from that area. Catherine Fitzgerald Dee born in 1794 and her husband John Dee had 11 children, 10 of whom immigrated to Boston, Massachusetts. I have taken the DNA and my brother also has taken the DNA test on ancestry. John Dee and Mary Mansfield Dee had more children, an unknown female and two sons, Jeremiah "Jerry" and Thomas both born in the 1830's. We know little about the Fitzgerald family in that area. Many of the County Waterford families came to Lincoln and Concord, Massachusetts where their friends and family settled.
