My mother Arnetta Georgetta Fitzgerald was abandon by her parents in Lyons, Kansas in 1921 when the Leemon McCart Carnival pulled out of town. Adoption records say my mother was born on October 5, 1920 in El Paso, Texas. My mother never found her family and we do not know my mother's mother's name and very little about her father, GS Fitzgerald. We understand GS Fitzgerald worked for the railroad in 1921 in Kansas City. We know nothing else and would so appreciate any help you can give. My mother's name was changed to Betty Jo McCabe after her adoption in Kansas. Betty Jo later married Archie Delbert Peterson and they lived in and near Tulsa, Oklahoma until her death in 2010 at the age of 89. Thank you so much.
