The few cousins I contacted or who contacted me there was no common relative to be found not even any common surnames. I would definitely pursue the Athea - Aherne - Fitzgerald lead. Those 2 clans have been strongly represented and intermarried in that townland and surrounding area (Clash, Coole West, Keale and Abbeyfeale) for many generations. Happy Hunting.
