Ancestry.com's DNA is useless for looking proper connections. I have used FTDNA and it is the preferred method for Autosomal, Y-DNA and mtDNA. If you could upload your kit to GEDmatch, I can see the data. As GEDMatch allows your kit to be seen over the 3 companies (Ancestry, FTDNA and 23andme). This step is really important.
