They made the voyage with two children, one child died and was buried at sea, the other child was James K. Fitzgerald, born in England in 1850, later married Isabelle McLeskey. Not sure of port of entry, family was in alabama by 1855 for birth of Patrick Fitzgerald, in Tennessee by 1856 for birth of John Fitzgerald, and Louis Jefferson Fitzgerald in 1861 who later married Martha Ann Harris.
