Dale This is a long shot, but in my family tree I have a John Morris married c1859 in Co Tyrone Ireland to Catherine Donnelly. They moved to Ballarat, Victoria, Australia in 1864. The long shot is me having a wrong surname, because my grandmother Teresa Fitzgerald married 1901 to Edward Morris in Ballarat. Teresa's parents were Patrick Fitzgerald and Hannora Auchetto nee Fogarty. Family recollections suggest one of the family (Patrick?) was fron the "Bog of Allen" (Co Kildare or Kings Co).This is nowhere near Limerick. This is the limit of my knowledge. Where in Australia did your Fitzgerald's live? With both Donnelly and Fitzgerald in my family, I wonder if you can make any sense of my comments?
