I just located my gggrandmother''s name as Sarah Fitzgerald who married my gggrandpa John Ward in tippecanoe county in aug.3,1835. In the 1840 census my ggrandfather named Thomas Ward dob 1837 ,would have been about 5 years and he had 2 other sisters between 1 and 5 yrs old.There are no names in this census . Trying to find out where they eventually settled and where they were from. They might have originally been from west virginia or kentucky.
