if this may help: i found a historical librarian in the www.usgenweb.org of the indiana state who helped me find some records that i would never have found with out her help.the illinois state would have that help also or which ever state you would be interested in. seems like these ancestors are playing hide and seek ! i will keep you in my file.good luck.thanks for responding.
