I am still searching for the ancestors of Thomas Fitzgerald, Sr. born bef. 7/1724 in Ireland and died in VA He married Eleanor O'Farrell . I believe they came to America in 1778 and settled in Romney VA (now WVA)Thomas Fitzgerald is listed in the 1810 Hampshire Co., WVA census and Eleanor in the 1820. The only child I know of is Thomas O'Farrell Fitzgerald b. 1778 at sea d. 3/28/1815. He married Mary Buffington. Their children were: Edward O'Farrell Fitzgerald b 8/26/1806 (my 2nd gr.grandfather) d 9/25/1889 Pickaway Co., OH m Lacy Ann Taylor William Buffington Fitzgerald b. 3/4/1818, d 5/1/1888 Mary Ellen Fitzgerald, m. ?
