Hi I'm searching for the parents of Bartlett/Bartholomew Fitzgerald. Bartlett appeared in Mason and Fleming Ky in 1776. A John Fitzgerald was in the area at the same time as well as John's brother Thomas b 1764. Thomas later moved to Fayette Co., Ky. I believe John's children settled in Fleming Co., Ky. Bartlett married Eleanor White b abt 1754 in Va. Their children were John b. 1778, James b. 1779, Daniel, Samuel, Benjamin b 1786, Moses b 1785, David b 1789, Eleanor ("Nelly" or "Ellen"), and Mary. A Bartlett and Benjamin Fitzgerald bought land in Fayette Co., Ky in 1788. Found the following in pension records Benjamin Fitzgerald born in MD and was a sol in the MD Line made an inquiry about his father Bartlett Hawkins Fitzgerald of Orange Co. Va.
