William is my great-grandfather. The family thought he came to LA on the Orphan Train. I wrote the orphanages in New York, but they had no listing of him. I now understand why! Was the another avenue to transport children (other than the train), or where the "Lalonde's" related to the Fitzgeralds? Please advise. Betsy
