I'm interested in this line also if ya'll could please post responses to the entire list. BTW, you mentioned the source of Bartlett's middle name. In his application for a Rev. War pension are included afadavits saying that Bartlett Hawkins who served is in fact the same person as Bartlett Hawkins Fitzgerald. His brother Benjamin Hawkins Fitzgerald, also served under the surname Hawkins. I have yet to find an explanation for the name change. Thanks, Connie Whaley Kingwood, Tx.
