He owned meat markets in the area. His name was Edmond Francis FitzGerald, Sr. He had at least one brother Daniel FitzGerald and one sister. If you know of them please let me know. My great grandfather was born in Ireland and he had a vegetable wagon in the Glens Falls area in the 1800's. I would say in the 1860's to 1890 somewhere. This is only an estimate.

There was a Patrick Fitzgerald in Emmet MI and my great grandfather, Patrick, in St Clair MI. The address for the Library is www.libofmich.lib.mi.us/. Use the drop down menu under quick reference. You can also look up this census and the 1890 at the St Clair County Library in downtown Port Huron. Hope this helps.

She was born in either Woonsocket or Bridgewater, South Dakota. She married a James D. Mullaney in the early 1900's in South Dakota and spent the rest of their lives there. I believe she was born in Dec of 1897. She had three sisters Mary, Elizabeth, and Eleanor, and four brothers, Charles, David, James, and John. Her mother was Mary Ann Desmond, and I have no other information on her father other than the family lore that she is a cousin of one type or another to JFK's mom, Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy. I am trying to get further down my Fitzgerald family line, but I am stuck. Does her name ring any bells with you? If so, please let me know.

He was born in 1872 in Ireland and came to the US in 1892. He met Nellie Fitzgerald, born 1874 in Ireland and came over in 1891. According to the 1900 census, they hadn't been married for a year yet and it looks like her brother Patrick, born 1875 imigrated 1895, lived with them at that time. According to my aunt, John has a captain or higher on the Chicago police force. She said he also had a brother who was a priest. She thought he may have been more than just a priest because she remembers it being very important when he would come to visit. My aunt also believed they may have come from Limmerick but I am unsure of this. If any one has information on John, Nellie, Patrick or the priest I would be very happy to hear from you. Thanks, John Kerley

The family member claims that it has always been said that Thomas was an ancester of John Francis "Honey Fitz" Fitzgerald. They arrived in Boston, but Thomas is the only brother that stayed in that area. My gggrandfather went to Pennsylvania. I have not been able to find any proof at all that this is the case, but I do know that the three brothers, Thomas, James and William all arrived in Boston together. I am trying to determine if this information is correct, and ultimately find out my g g grandfather James' Irish roots. I've run into a dead end. I don't know the date of their arrival or the ship name, but I would guess around 1840, give or take a few years. Since you mention two brothers, William and Thomas and a Honeyfitz connection, perhaps we're talking about the same family. Any info. you have would be appreciated. Thanks. Cindy
