Rick, Please see my post of today "More William Fishers". I have some of the same names, but not the same dates as you do, so there probably is a connection, if we can figure it out. All of my Fishers are from NY state and Michigan, but it has been suggested that some of the Fishers migrated from PA to NY with the Palatine movement, with which I'm not familiar. Here is what I have: REBECCA FISHER B. 1811, Gorham, Ontario Co,NY d. 12 Sep 1887 Constantine, St. Joseph Co., Michigan m. Sep 1835 to Herman Harwood. Her parents were Christian Fisher and Jane Garrison. REBECCA FISHER b. 28 Jul 1826 Gorham, Ontario Co., NY d. unknown. Her parents were Christopher (Stoefel) Fisher and Abigail Buckland. JACOB FISHER b. 1749 Rhinebeck,Dutchess Co., NY d. unknown. His parents were Christian Fisher and Catharina Schneider. I have two Johann and four John Fishers, none born in 1837 or 1872. WARREN FISHER b. 7 Sep 1842 NY d. Mar 1915 probably in Michigan m. 1873 Sarah Lucina Lyons. He is the son of Henry Fisher and Mary Ann Fuller. I'll see what I can find out about the names of the folks who went from PA to NY. Let me know if any of this connects with your families.
