"Homestead Application #5426, January 17, 1892, for 160 acres in Montana. Papers were filed in Helena land was in Blaine County--Southeast Quarter, Section: 25, Town: 33N, Range 20E--between the North Fork and the West Fork. William E. Fisher states that he is, "A native born citzen of the United States, that I was born in Neillsville Clark Co. Wisconsin, that I am 25 years of age." (This would have him born 1867.) His wife of that time left him taking the children with her. I believe he most likely remarried. Did he remarry in Blaine County raise another family? Did he die in that area or move on? I haven't a clue...Help would be greatly appreciated.
