Martha, I am researching a Nichols line but they came from Va. to NC. Now if any went into Michigan I do not know yet. Stumped in VA. back. Winnie, It looks like we are in the same boat....not enough information available. Yet! Val Nichols and I descend from the Fishers who were in NY state until around 1835-50, when some of them moved to Michigan. There is a rumor (whisper) that POSSIBLY our Fishers originated in PA, and I of course was hoping that you had lots of info about Fishers in PA, since I have none!
