    3. Hi Carol - My Fishers entered America in 1749 via Philadelphia. In 1851 they bought property in Codorus Township, PA, which is just southeast of Hanover, and just over the line from Maryland, just about in the middle of the state. If your family were from NE Pennsylvania, there probably aren't any connections, but anything's possible. If you want to take a close look at what I've got I could email you a copy of my GEDCOM file, or if you want to give me some names to look for in my file I'd be happy to do that for you. 3. Hi!! I say we ALL send our gedcoms to Mary to put them on OUR new site that she is developing. Then, we'll have ONE place to check everything out!! Just make a gedcom of your ancestors, and/or include your earliest Fisher and do a descendency gedcom... We would ALL benefit from this! There are two prominent lines of Fishers who came to American in the 1700s. Wouldn't it be great if someone had an intermarriage that would tie both together? Boy, what a find that would be! 3. Doug my line is on my website at http://www.geocities.com/junebird3/ Unfortunately, I haven't gotten very far with this line so you might not recognize any of the names, but anything's worth a try.
