WILLIAM CHRISTIAN FISHER, b. 4 Oct. 1832 Gorham,Ontario Co., NY d. 4 Jul 1918 Rushville,Ontario Co., NY, m. ANNA CLARK abt. 7 Jan., 1837. His parents were Christian Fisher and Catherine Case. WILLIAM FISHER, b. abt. 1835 probably in NY state,d. unknown. Son of Christopher (Stoephel) Fisher and Rebecca Shepherd. WILLIAM FISHER b. 1844 in NY,d. unknown. Son of George Fisher and Nancy (unknown). Now I should admit that much of this information comes from Lyn Wilson, whose research I very much respect. She has suggested that this NY branch of the Fishers may have originated in PA and migrated to NY with the Palatines (please don't ask me to explain that...don't know). Some of the people in this line eventually migrated to Barry Co, Michigan around 1850. That's where I am from.
