Joe, Bea, Please tell me more about your Christian Fisher and Martin Fisher. I'm trying to trace my Christian from ca. 1740 Dutchess Co., NY back to PA. The given names repeat over and over in these PA families, so I'm thinking there must be a connection somewhere. Bea, I would be interested in the Fisher tree that you found around Somerset Co., PA. If not too much trouble could you send me some info on that too, please Winnie ----- Original Message ----- From: "lyn wilson" <pawprintsrus@yahoo.com> To: <FISHER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, January 16, 2003 4:27 PM Subject: Re: [FISHER] Fisher from PA > Joe, Bea, > Please tell me more about your Christian Fisher and > Martin Fisher. Hi all, To make things very simple...I'll tell you what I always do....When hubby is watching football or some sport on tv...I get on this computer and check out sites! I was bored the other day and started to just type in" Fisher's in Huntingdon County,Pe...then other Counties. So when Somerset was typed in...That is when I found the Christian Fisher line....I do believe it said he was from either New Jersey or New York and came to Pennsylvania...Somerset County...I believe it was under a Yoder family tree. Because he married into that family...I'll go in again and try to get the URL...then I will post it...I also THINK if you check there is a Fisher Cemetery in Somerset County as well...that I WILL get the URL for and add it in my site. Let me know if you find anything and, I'll go back into these sites and get URL'S.. Bea P.S. Just type in Fisher Families ,Somerset County,Pennsylvania and see what comes up in the genealogy area.... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Winnie Nichols" <fayth@charter.net> To: <FISHER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, January 16, 2003 8:24 PM Subject: Re: [FISHER] Fisher from PA > Bea, I would be interested in the Fisher tree that you found around Somerset > Co., PA.
