Hello list! So far I have just been an observer on the list, but now may be a good time to ask if anyone has a George Washington Fisher, b. 15 February 1800. I do not know who his parents were, nor do I know where he was born. The first positive information I have on him is his marriage to Sarah Mariam Spikes on July 4, 1826 in Copiah County, MS. The marriage date comes from Early MS Marriages - Before 1850, and his birth date came to me from a relative who found it in an old family bible. All suggestions are appreciated. Sue Fisher
