    3. Searching for information on Daniel Fisher born abt. 1778 m. Julia Armstrong b. 1782 NC. Daniel and Julia lived in Posey/Gibson County, IN. Their children were Jackson John, Thomas W. Daniel B. and Jordan A. Fisher. The Daniel I seek was mortally wounded in the Battle of Tippecanoe on 7 Nov 1811 and died on Nov 12 en route back to Vincennes. Any info on Daniel's parents or siblings would be greatly appreciated. His son Jordan migrated to Hamilton County, Illinois and then on to Franklin County where he died. Jordan's children were Benjamin C. Fisher, William E. Fisher, Rachael Fisher, Mary Fisher, John Fisher, and Daniel M. Fisher. I also have descendency through Benjamin C. Fisher if this looks familiar to anyone.

    3. Well, I do know this. The Daniel Fisher I have researched did have a son named Daniel and he did move to KY and he did die young I think somehow war related. ------------------------------------------------ This family came out of VA and the Old man Daniel Fisher had come from England.... I do not know if your Daniel is the same Daniel or of that line. The only reason I was able to link them was there was a woman on this list at one time who came from this younger Daniel..... I only noticed he disappeared and I could not trace him. He was not of my direct line so I never looked that hard. The way William E. named his childern makes him very suspect that he is coming from my line. Betty -----
