Martha, Thank you for responding. My Christian was born in Wurtemburg, Germany probably in the early 1800's. I don't know when he showed up in America but I know his 1st child, Hannah, was born in 1836 in Plymouth, Wayne County,Michigan. Do you think there is a connection? Debbie
