    3. Hi Wilma, I've been trying to connect George Fisher, b. 1811 in PA, and Elias Fisher, b. 1813 in PA with any Fishers in PA. Would these two be connected in any way to your Fishers? I'm not sure when they moved to Iowa, but I found them on the 1850 census in Jefferson County. In fact there are four more Fishers listed: David K. Fisher, b. 1820 and Fred Fisher, b. 1825 from Ohio; George Fisher, b. 1784 and John Fisher, b. 1782 from New Jersey. One possibility is two brothers, John and George migrated through PA and OH to Iowa and had children on the way. Our line goes back to Hamilton Fisher, b. 30 Sep 1832, born in Madison, IN, married Catharine Pinegar 31 May 1852, in Wapello, IA and died 26 Mar 1904, in Libertyville, Jefferson, IA, and was buried in the Winsell Cemetery in Des Moines Township. I don't know if any of them are connected or not but I'm hoping someone will be able to help. I'm sending Hamilton's obit transcribed from the Fairfield Ledger March 30, 1904. OBITUARY. Hamilton Fisher died at his home in Libertyville March 26, 1904, aged seventy-one years, five months, twenty-six days. The funeral took place from the home Sunday, March 27th, Rev. Barber conducting the services. Mr. Fisher was born in Madison County, Ind., September 30th, 1832; he came to Iowa in 1839 and settled in Van Buren County, where he lived a short time, and then came to this county, where he lived on a farm until 1902. He came to Libertyville in 1902. He was married to Catharine Pinegar May 31st, 1852; of this union five children were born, four of whom are living, and with his wife are lift to mourn the loss of a kind husband and father. He had been a member of the Baptist church since June 27, 1857. >From other records: Catherine Fisher, nee Pinegar was born 1 Jan 1831 and died 9 Jun 1905. Hamilton and Catharine are both buried in the Winsell Cemetery, Des Moines Township, Jefferson, Iowa. Others buried there are: George Fisher, b. 1811, d. 25 Jun 1876; George Fisher, b. 1784, d. 2 Aug 1859, his wife, Elizabeth Fisher, b. 1794, d. 24 Juj 1874; John Fisher, b. 1788, d. 10 Apr 1856, and his wife, Ruth Fisher, b. 1789, d. 19 Feb 1957 (? 1857); Joseph G. Fisher, b. 1860, d. 12 Jun 1885. I hope this will be a help for someone out there in cyberland. Let me know if anyone can tie these lines together or ties in with these lines. Thanks, Lois
