What are the dates of your Henrich? And the names of the children (since my Fischers tend to recycle names a lot ;) )? I descend a line of German Fischers from Oberelsungen, Hessen-Kassel (germany). Three brothers (or presumably brothers, but possibly cousins) all came over to fight during the Revolutionary War. ALL THREE STAYED! But I only have info on my line, Ludwig Fischer/Lewis Fisher who settled in NC. The other two Fischers from Oberelsungen were Henrich and Phillipp, and both stayed in NYC after their respective regiments left for home, but again, I have nearly zero information on them, other than birthdates et al, and I don't know where they ended up settling. One was discharged and the other deserted just one day before their ships left the port of NYC. So while it's possible they stayed there, we have no data at all to know where they went.
