Sergeant Major and served in Africa, was in Malta 1908-1911 and married Alice Dillow born 1896 in Malta. 1911 posted to India and returned to Bath, Somerset around the outbreak of lst WW. He had four children, Ernie, Mary, Dorethy and my father Arthur (known as Michael). Any help on William Fisher or Somerset Light Infantry at that time, would be great to receive. Thanks..

    3. Speaking of military. I have a black ribbon that reads "In memoriam.....Shelledy Post No. 84 G.A.R." In the middle is a star with "Grand Army of the Republic....1861 . Veteran . 1866" with a small American flag. I don't know who it belonged to. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
