    3. I can't help but wonder if my Fisher lines somehow connect into this line. My only info is a Catherine Fisher born at end of Rev War; married Mathias Berry in 1790s. The family has LIncoln County, NC ties - especially Berry. I can trace my Berry lines back into Va and from there into New England. (Old family) Can't get a lead on Catherine Fisher or her lines, however. I'm not sure her name was Catherine. As a granddaughter was named Mary Catherine, (my ancestor) I'm wondering if she might also have been a Mary Catherine. My gggrandmother went by the name of Catherine, making her lines hard to trace until I found her actual name was Mary Catherine. That allowed me to track her back. Mathias (John) and Catherine Fisher-Berry left NC for Monroe Co and Brown Co, IN in the 1820s. Their family went with them, where they became well-known stone masons in this state. Many important buildings here and in Washington DC are from their mines of Blue Limestone. Their daughter, Barbara Berry, married Solomon Huit/Huet/Huyette in Lincoln County in the home of her uncle, Robert Berry, on Dec 16, 1929. They left for Indiana the following spring, where my family still resides. It's their daughter, Mary Catherine Huitt, who married William O. Taylor here in Indiana...she was born here in KNox County, IN in 1830. suze ----------------------------------------> Date: Sat, 1 Sep 2007 09:31:44 -0700> From: [email protected]> To: [email protected]> Subject: [FISHER] Fisher Reunion>> Descendants of James Washington Fisher, SR, Revolutionary War Soldier from Maryland.
