Info I was given said he was probably born around 1810-15 era. was in Mahaska Iowa on 1950 census. We are trying to find if and when he came from Germany. His father was supposedly educated in Germany. He is listed as being married to a Lovinia Unk. Know one in the family has any idea what her surname was. She was born around 1817 time fram possibly in Ohio. Dr Fisher died in Aug 1853 on the Oregon trail near what is now Boise Idaho. His widow and several children went on to Oregon and she married a Mr Young about 1857 or so. Thanks for any info.
