Harry is believed to have been born in Rose Hill Binfield Berkshire c1885. His father John Fisher is known to have been a carter. His mother's name may be Mary and it looks as though he had at least two brothers: John E and William E. Per the 1901 census, John was born in Weston Berkshire. Harry left the area in c1906 and moved to the London area. He joined the Metropolitan Police force in 1906 and left the force in 1908. Harry married Harriet Sturdgess of Blisworth Northants in 1908 while in London. They had two children Polly M.A.M. and William Charles Ernest. Harry died while serving with the Royal Field Artillery in Italy in 1918. If anyone knows of this family please contact me at [email protected] Thanks.
