Your message caught my attention. My great grandfather was Jacob Fisher. He was born in Pennsylvania in 1829, moved to Ohio and then on to Montgomery County Illinois where he lived and died in 1915. His father was Michael Fisher who had a brother George. George was born in 1807 in Pennsylvania and believed to have died 1879 but am not sure where. George married Elizabeth Bisel. Does that sound like a possibility to be the same as your George and Elizabeth?
