Left there in the early 1800s and went to Illinois. >From there to Mississippi, then north Louisiana, and on to Van Zandt County, Texas. Have any of your Fishers been DNA tested? Sure would help finding out which families tie in together. You just need a male member of the family who still carries the name Fisher. Pennsylvania Fisher or Fischer Still looking for family from the Montgomery Co area. in mid to late 1700's. My lead is Heinrich or Henry Fisher. Name got changed with time as usual. He had a mess of kids. My connection is Mary or Magdelena who married a Trexler. Another daughter married a Trexler too. Also George, Dreshler. Any one out there searching for these folks?
