I think I found an obit for him in the Public Ledger Jan 26, 1843, pg 2 : On the 24th inst., Mr. JOHN FISHER, in the 44th year of his age, in the hope of a glorious immortality. His friends, and those of the family, are respectfully invited to attend his funeral, from his late residence, in Church street, between Swanson and Front and Christian and Washington streets, to-morrow afternoon, at 2 o'clock, without further notice. I always thought his wife Elizabeth's last name was Allen. Maybe that is way I couldn't find info on her. Middle name was Allen ? Will be looking for BOYER now. Here is whats on her interment permit at Laurel Hill : LAUREL HILL PERMIT FOR INTERMENT STATES ELIZABETH A. FISHER WAS REMOVED FROM SWEDES BURYING GROUND (GLORIA DEI BURIAL GROUND).
