    3. Just a note on my Fisher Family. I did discover last summer that my Rev. George W. Fisher was married to Nancy Hibler-Simmons in 1834 in Shelbyville, Illinois. She was there visiting a sister and her physician husband. George must have been living in Shelbyville at that time. After their marriage they lived in Shelbyville for a couple of years then moved to St. Louis County where Nancy's parents Samuel & Rebecca Hibler lived. They lived in St. Louis County from 1836 until the late 1840's. They moved back to Shelbyville, Illinois and George W. Fisher was involved in starting one of the first schools there. I lose track of them after 1854 until George W. Fisher is living with his son Samuel in St. Louis County in 1870. Rev. George W. & Nancy Fisher named their children Samuel M., Martha Ellen, Louisa and Julia. Rev. George W. Fisher was affiliated with the Methodist Church. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? 3. I noticed on the 1870 census where my second gt grandfather George W. Fisher is living with his son Samuel, "Mother of foreign birth" is checked for George W.'s mother. I did have DNA tested on a male cousin and it showed that our Fisher's are J1. This is not a common Fisher haplogroup. Any ideas????
