Am looking for anyone researching the family of Christian Gottlieb Fischer/Fisher. Born 1843 in Wuerttemburg, Germany. Married Elizabeth Mildred Vaughan in Cooper County, Missouri 5 August 1866. Christian served with the Union Army during the Civil War with the 72nd Ohio Volunteer Infantry mustered in at Sandusky Ohio. He was in an artillery unit. I have information on his parents and willing to share. Looking for descendents who are also researching this line. Do not know if this is my Line of Fishers or not. My GGGrandfather was Albert or Alfred Fisher. Know nothing else about him. Middle name is Henry or William and he was born in Ky or Va or ?.
