I noticed that you mentioned that one of his sons was named Daniel (in Franklin Co., Va). I have an ancestor in next-door Pittsylvania Co. named Daniel Fisher (born ca 1776), married to a Susan, and was blind and a pauper later in life. He obviously died after the 1860 census. I've seen several Fishers (including a younger Daniel in Franklin Co. records), but very few in Pittsylvania. My Daniel's daughter, Martha, married Mr. Francis Irby in 1835 and I think their daughter is one of my ancestors. Anyway, I would appreciate any information that you wish to send me about this Fisher family.
